POPULATION DETAILS:-
There are three villages under the Gram Panchayathi of KambalaPalli and they are located in Rapur Mandal. They are Kandaleru Dam colony, Chellatur and Kambalapalli. Kandaleru colony was constructed for the employees. Compared to these two villages Kandaleru Dam has more population. Population has increased gradually after the construction of the Dam began.
Most of the people in kambalapalli and Chellatur are farmers and daily labors. But in kandaleru, most of the people are employees. Literacy rate is also high in this colony compared to all the villages near by it.

Kandaleru is a small village in
The Kodanda Rama Swamy temple is 450 mts from center. It was started to build in 1989, June and completed by 1990.Many Engineers worked for the construction of the temple. Before 3 years the temple filled with the devotees in the morning and evening. But last 3 years it was abounded because there is no specific priest for the temple. It is opened only for the eve of “Sri Ramanavami”.
Sai Baba temple
The Sai Baba temple is located in the North direction with West face. It is 250 mts from the center. It is occupied 1.25 acres. It was started to build in 1997 and completed by 1999, January 30.It was inaugurated by “Darga Baba Swamy”, who belongs to Kadapa District. In this village 100 Hindu families are living at present. The priest of the temple is “Mr. Sanjeevaiah” from the very beginning of the temple. The Expenditure to built the temple was Rs.6 lakh, which was collected from the villagers who were living in the village at that time. Here “Anna Danam” conducts twice in a year. Those days are “Gurupournami” and “The temple day”.
In the village the Church is located in the North direction with West face. It is 400 mts from the junction. It was built in 1989. It was named as “The United Christian Church”. It is occupied 1(one) acre. Prayer timings in the Church are Friday- fasting pray at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and Sunday Aaradhana. They conduct “Ballaradhana” monthly once. There are around 25 Christian families are living at present.
The Mosque is located in the North direction with East face. It is 500 mts from the junction. It was inaugurated in 1986; August 10.It is named as “Jumma Masjid”. It was built by Suleiman, Rehman Eng and Nabi Saheb by collecting money Rs.2 lakh from the villagers. Name of the pesh-e-mam for this Masjid is “Sk. Yaseen”. In this village 60 Muslim families are living. They celebrate all their festivals.
